This week's drinks (8/15/2025):
The Red Raider just might be the perfect summer drink! I tried it out on some of my trusted drink testers, and while they loved the fun color, they mostly loved the deliciousness! It has a lot of layers and depth to it that will keep you coming back; you may need a couple! Bulleit bourbon, fresh lemon juice, triple sec, and grenadine.
I had to do a tiki drink to hold on to summer just a little bit longer! While I can definitely get behind a blended daiquiri, I don't like how they can turn into watery messes as they go from slushy to melted. Sometimes I just need a daiquiri the way Papa Hemingway intended: on the rocks and packed with flavor. This gently spicy variation brings citrusy freshness and the subtle heat of a jalapeño, blended with the summer-soaked flavors of rum and coconut milk. Bacardi White Rum, Licor 43, Ancho Reyes, fresh orange juice, coconut milk, a bit of agave syrup, and orange bitters.
We've been eating fresh cherries all Summer, and I knew I had to make a cocktail with them. They are already so sweet, they go perfectly with fresh limeade (and Vodka, duh)! This cocktail will keep you feeling those sweet Summer vibes even when we're back to school. Tito's Handmade Vodka, Heering Cherry Liquor, fresh limeade, and housemade cherry syrup.
This has been my go-to drink all Summer, and soon it will be yours. It's an all time fave here, so I figured I'd bring it back before Summer was over. It's so fresh, so fruity, and perfectly sweet, you just can't go wrong. We may be headed back to school, but this cocktail will give you something to look forward to when you get home. Casamigos Blanco Tequila, Cointreau, housemade sour, and freshly juiced watermelon.
